Corrections

Corrections policy

DermalGuide is only useful if the label facts are right. If something on a page doesn't match the brand's current label, we want to fix it.

How to report an error

Email admin@dermalguide.com with the page address and what looks wrong. A photo of the label or a link to the brand's page helps us check faster.

What happens next

  1. We check the claim against the brand's own label or product page.
  2. If the page is wrong or out of date, we fix it and update the "Checked" date on the product page.
  3. If the change affects something a reader might rely on, such as an ingredient being added or removed or a fragrance status changing, the page's "Updated" date changes and any guide that mentions the product is rechecked.

What counts as a correction

Wrong or missing ingredients, a wrong percentage, skin type or size, a broken source link, or a guide that says something the label doesn't support. Differences in opinion about a product are not corrections, because we don't publish opinions about how products perform.
