COSRX Propolis Light vs Hydrium Enriched Cream

Should I choose COSRX Full Fit Propolis Light Cream or Hydrium Moisture Power Enriched Cream?

Short answer

Choose Full Fit Propolis Light Cream if you want a gel-like cream led by propolis, with honey and royal jelly, and a short 18-ingredient list. Choose Hydrium Moisture Power Enriched Cream if you want ceramide NP, cholesterol and several hyaluronic acid forms, with only a little propolis, and you don't avoid coconut oil. Both are sold as fragrance free.

What this means for you

Start with what you notice

Both are lightweight COSRX face creams. Pick the Propolis cream for a bee-ingredient formula, or the Hydrium cream for ceramides and hyaluronic acid.

The ingredient names, translated

The Propolis Light Cream lists propolis extract first, which COSRX gives as 64%, plus honey and royal jelly extracts and beeswax. The Hydrium Enriched Cream is water-based with glycerin, panthenol, propolis, ceramide NP, cholesterol and three hyaluronic acid forms. It lists coconut oil.

How to decide

  • Want ceramides in your moisturizer? Hydrium Enriched Cream.
  • Avoiding coconut oil? Full Fit Propolis Light Cream.
  • Avoiding bee ingredients? Neither is a clean fit; both list propolis.

Propolis gel-cream vs ceramide cream

COSRX Full Fit Propolis Light Cream is a 65 mL gel-like cream. Propolis extract leads the list, followed by glycerin, sunflower seed oil, honey and royal jelly extracts, beeswax and allantoin.

COSRX Hydrium Moisture Power Enriched Cream is a 50 mL cream. It lists glycerin, coconut oil, panthenol, propolis, ceramide NP, cholesterol and three forms of hyaluronic acid.

Skin Realist check: two light creams from one brand will feel more alike than different. Choose on the ingredients you want or avoid.

Label differences worth knowing

The Propolis cream lists four bee-derived ingredients; the Hydrium cream lists one. See our moisturizer for your skin type guide and our COSRX Pure Fit Cica vs Hydrium cream comparison.
